Instructions

The archive contains all original instructions in order to perform the piece.

In addition, one Max/MSP patch has been added to the archive. This Max patch was especially created for the performance, and allows the spatialization of solo instruments as required by the composer.

To perform the piece, download a copy of Max Runtime from www.cycling74.com. Request authorization for Spatialisateur on www.forumnet.ircam.fr

Once Max/MSP installed and Spatialisateur authorized, launch the Max patch:

- turn DSP on

- open the Spat window to monitor the spatialization

- click the Init button

- hit the space bar to trigger events according to electronic events annotated in the score. The score is also present in the archive.

Spatialized instruments are piano, clarinet and cello.

Additionally, electronic Pad drums are also diffused through the Patch, separately from other solo instruments.
