Loudspeaker setup

Concert setup for Palais de la Musique et des Congrès (Strasbourg/Musica)

Midi setup

Two master keyboard for one instrumentalist on stage.

The first keyboard ("A") triggers events (soundfiles and real time effect) and should be linked to max msp via a booster and a doubler (for the spare to get also the midi). Keyboard A is connected to the Macintosh (through the audio interface midi Port).

The second (lower, "B") connected directly to a AKAÏ Z8 sampler. A folder called 'sampler' contains programs that will set it up before the concert. The AkSys software is required to send the programs to the sampler. This keyboard should have :

  • a midi sustain pedal
  • a midi volume pedal
  • a pitch bend wheel
  • easily accessible program change buttons

Sampler programs

The Z8 sampler contains 6 multis, the selection is done by program changes sent by keyboard B.

  • Multi 1 "ppnewalone.akm" :
    •     1 ppnew alone
    •     2 ppnew alone
  • Multi 2 "Magic Piano.akm" :
    •     1 piano hrmonics -0.7 dB
    •     2 piano plucked -6 db
    •     3 vla attres2 0dB
    •     4 ppnew alone 0 db
    •     5 ensemble pnew looped 0db
